FRIES Series
Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Systems Economics & Policy Seminary
The FRIES seminar series brings together researchers from within and beyond ETH Zurich's Institute for Environmental Decisions. Three groups organize the series: the Agricultural Economics and Policy Group (D-MTEC and D-USYS), the Food System Economics and Policy Group (D-USYS), and the Environmental Policy Lab (D-USYS).
Anyone interested in the economics and policy of food, agricultural, and environmental systems is welcome to attend. Each one-hour session features a 30-minute presentation from an internal group member or a visiting guest, followed by a 30-minute open discussion.
We hold all meetings in person at SOL B4 and stream the sessions simultaneously via Zoom. We typically gather on Wednesdays at 16:00, though we occasionally schedule talks on other days at the same time to accommodate visiting speakers.
